Nitrenium ion
Reactive intermediate based on nitrogen with both an electron lone pair and a positive charge and with two substituents (R2N+). Note: The alkylidene derivatives of (H2N+), (R2C=N+), still belong to the class nitrenium ions but are more precisely designated by the term iminylium ions.
