DRAFT DEFINITION
Cationized molecule
An ion formed by the association of a cation with a neutral molecule, M, for example [M+ Na]+ and [M + K]+.

The terms quasi-molecular ion and pseudo-molecular ion should not be used.

Considered between 2004 and 2006 but not included in the 2006 PAC submission
