Infrared Multi-photon Dissociation

Dissociation of an ion or molecule that results from the absorption of energy of multiple infrared photons. IRMPD can be used in a FT-ICRMS cell using an infra-red CO2 laser.

Considered between 2004 and 2006 but not included in the 2006 PAC submission
