DRAFT DEFINITION |
Resonance ion ejection |
---|
A mode of ion ejection in a quadrupole ion trap that relies on a auxiliary radio frequency voltage that is applied to the end-cap electrodes. The voltage is tuned to the secular frequency of a particular ion to eject it. |
