Isobar
IUPAC RECOMMENDATIONS 2013
isobar (in mass spectrometry) Atomic or molecular species with the same nominal mass but different exact masses. Note 1: In the case of atoms, this is equivalent to different nuclides of equal mass number. Note 2: Isobaric ions are isobars that all carry an electric charge. Note 3: This term is used in meteorology to denote lines connecting points of equal atmospheric pressure.
