{{def|rel=[[Electrospray ionization]]}}
The proprietary name of an [[electrospray]] configuration in which the axis of the spray is at right angles to the axis of the sampling orifice. Ions make a second 90????? turn before passing through a second differentially pumped stage thus the path of the ions forms a block Z shape. The term should only be used to describe the commercial device.
